That is the entire price for most rentals. Drop-off is free. Pickup is free. You get up to a full week, starting the day the container lands. The only thing that commonly adds cost is weight: go past your size's included allowance and the overage runs 5 cents per pound, billed after the landfill weigh-in. A typical household cleanout stays inside the allowance.

None of these apply to a normal rental where the driveway is clear and household junk goes in the container. They exist for the edge cases, and knowing them up front is exactly how you avoid them.
Cancellations are simple too: cancel at least 24 hours before delivery day and you get a full refund.
Why quotes elsewhere swing from $175 to $725
Search this question and you will find ranges wide enough to be useless. There are real reasons the numbers spread.
The advertised price is often not the drive-away price. Plenty of companies quote a low base rate, then add delivery, fuel surcharge, environmental fee, and a per-day charge after day three. By the time the container leaves your driveway, the $250 special costs $450. When you compare quotes, compare the final number: delivery, pickup, rental days, and the weight allowance, all included.
Weight allowances differ wildly between companies. A cheap rental with a 1,000 lb allowance and 8 cents per pound overage can cost more than a pricier rental with 3,000 lbs included. Ask for the allowance in writing, and note that ours scales with the container instead of staying flat.
Rental period matters. Some quotes cover 3 days, some cover 14. Ours covers up to 7, and extra days are available at a rate we agree on before extending.
Location plays a part. National marketplaces broker your job out to whoever is available and add a margin for the middleman. A local company that owns its containers and its truck skips that markup. Our containers live in south metro Atlanta, which is why delivery to Jonesboro, McDonough, or Stockbridge costs us little enough to make it free to you.
The material that changes the math
Concrete, brick, stone, dirt, sand, and gravel cannot go in a roll-off dumpster at any price; they overload the container and the truck, and they are prohibited in every size. If your project produces masonry debris, that is a job for our concrete removal service, and mentioning it up front gets you an accurate total instead of a pickup-day surprise. Same for paint, oils, chemicals, batteries, and propane tanks: none of it can ride in the container.
