What $99 usually buys

A $99 junk removal offer is almost always a single-item or micro-volume price: one couch, one appliance, one small curbside pile, usually with conditions attached. Ground floor. Curbside or garage, already outside. Within a tight radius. Certain items excluded. Read the fine print on any $99 offer and you will generally find some version of these limits, because the alternative is a company that loses money on every job.

That version of $99 is fine. If you have one recliner sitting in a carport and someone hauls it for $99, you got what the ad said.

The version to watch is the $99 that grows. 3. "Is that the final number if nothing changes?" An honest company says yes. A bait operation starts qualifying.
